In January 2019, the U.S. Navy launched the CMMMF-1 (CMMB GoodMilitary Groups) program, in which it funds lifesaving missions for military veterans and their families.
The CMMB projects are meant to be an “end-to-end” solution for the medical care, education, and prevention of HIV/ AIDS, the Navy announced in December 2018.
“Our military is the largest in the world and our work is not just about our men and women in uniform.
We are also doing more for the health of the entire Filipino people, particularly our veterans,” Admiral Joseph Aucoin, CMMB commander of operations, said in a statement.
“We have no plans to stop this work.”
